Frequently Asked Questions

Massology Remedial Massage offers Remedial, Sports, Pregnancy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Therapeutic (Relaxing) massage treatments. Cupping can be added for a small additional fee.Treatments are offered in 60, 90 and 120 minute duration. 

Yes! The majority of private health funds allow us to process claims on the spot and receipts are issued at the time of payment or can be emailed to you if you prefer.  

Payment is due on the day at the completion of treatment. 

We accept cash, Eftpos, Mastercard, Visa Card, Amex or direct deposit as well as the Massology Remedial Massage Gift Certificates and Gift Vouchers. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to invoice for treatments provided. 

No - definitely not!

Draping (the use of towels) will always be used and and you will never be required to be completely naked during the session. Should you become uncomfortable for any reason, you can ask the therapist to end the session and the session will be ended with such a request. 

Also, please note the therapist will end the session for any inappropriate behaviour or suggestion and such inappropriateness can be referred to the relevant authorities for further investigations.

Registered - We are registered with the AMT - Association of Massage Therapists.

Qualified - Absolutely! Janette holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage.

Insurance - We wouldn't be able to operate without insurance in place. It is also a pre-requisite of holding a provider number in order to claim from Health Funds.

Firstly, Congratulations on making this important step towards your own overall wellness.

A confidential 'Client Intake Form' will be emailed to you. This needs to be completed prior to your first treatment to allow the therapist to best tailor your treatment plan. You may also be contacted earlier should the therapist require clarity for treatment. 

On the day, please arrive about 5 minutes earlier and once settled in-room, just relax and breathe gently and enjoy the calming music during the session. Feel free to advise the therapist if you need the temperature or pressure adjusted during treatment. 

Should ongoing / further treatment be required, that will be discussed at the end of the session. 

If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24-Hours notice, as this allows Massology Remedial Massage the greatest opportunity to clear our wait-list or for a new booking to be made. Cancellation/Changes with greater than a 24-hour notice period will not incur a fee. 

Our Policy: Any cancellation made less than 24-Hours will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the reserved services or $50.00 whichever is more. Rescheduling your appointment does not incur a fee provided more than 6-hours notice is provided. Canceling and re-booking due to Covid-19 will NOT incur a cancellation fee or charges. 

We reserve the right to waive a cancellation fee on a case-by-case basis as we do understand that regrettably last minute events do happen on occasion. Please contact us directly to discuss.

Massology Remedial Massage value and respect your privacy. All information is kept in the strictest of confidence and used only in accordance with your therapy needs. Information will be forwarded to your preferred medical provider ONLY with your written consent and ONLY to the medical providers business email address. 

Your personal data is kept on our booking system which is backed up regularly through our booking system provider (Splose). Splose are located offsite in South Australia and have assured Massology Remedial Massage their systems have the highest standards of data protection.
